Physical Sciences Facility Humidity Control

The Physical Sciences Facility Humidity Control project was for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA.  The project objective was to upgrade the temperature and Humidity control system in the Physical Sciences Facility (PSF), Building 3420/Lab 1703 and Building 3430/Lab 1505. The work consisted of: (i) demolition of portions of Lab insulated air supply ducting, heating coils, and heating supply water piping, (ii) installation of Owner-provided electric duct heaters, cooling coils, and new insulated ducting, (iii) extension of building chilled water supply and return insulated piping, valves, and instrumentation, (iv) installation of condensate drain lines, (v) extension of electrical supply conduit, cables, and breakers for duct heaters, (vi) installation of control conduit, conductors, and devices, and (vii) testing and turnover of Work.
