Selah High School Addition

801 N 1st Street
Selah, WA

The project is a new addition to the Selah High School consisting of six new classrooms, a fitness room, new locker rooms and a new auxiliary gym. The new building addition is roughly 14,000 sf and the auxiliary gym is 8,900 sf. The new facility will be fully built out with architectural finishes, mechanical & electrical systems, and the exterior will have a CMU veneer finish. The project will also have 10 ft tall retaining walls, an elevated walkway, new concrete patios and sidewalks. Areas within the existing high school will also be remodeled to accommodate mechanical upgrades to the existing systems. Selective demolition of existing portables, exterior features and mechanical equipment within the building are also part of the project. The new facility, when complete, will allow the school district to move the 9th graders from the junior high to the high school and create a traditional 4 year high school.
